Hi Pug Lovers! I’m Nixon, a 6 year old (approx) apricot neutered male, with the sweetest disposition you would ever want in a Pug! I’ve been looking for YOU…and if you are looking for a handsome, well behaved (no marking & housebroken), sweet loving guy who will devote himself to you, then I’m your guy.

My foster Mommy seems really happy that I’m a good boy and I give her lots of hugs and kisses while she brushes my lovely fur. I think she likes to brush pugs cause she is doing that all the time - even with the other pugs in the house! (Maybe she should have been a “stylist”.) Anyway, I am not a little pug, I weighed in at 24.2 lbs when I arrived to APARN, and I’m no fat guy either!

Likes: Sitting next to my people on the couch, sleeping in the big bed, getting brushed, nice words of encouragement, life in general.

Dislikes: Mean people with nothing nice to say, being in my crate for long periods of time (but I will behave if I have to), the baby pool foster mommy tried to get me to walk in.

I get along fine with the resident girly pugs and even the other foster boy pug (he’s kind of nice to show me the ropes). I leave the old girl pug alone as I hear she could whoop my behind! I’m a bit timid at first, but warm up quickly with petting and kind words. I’m getting much more confident than when I first came to Foster Mommy, and she seems to like that - I know I feel much better too!

I am healthy, was neutered last week, got all my vaccinations and rabies shot and was tested and am Heart worm/Tick Fever free! I do not have any health problems that we know about.

I would love to meet you at the upcoming APARN events. I really would like to find my forever home quickly, though Foster Mommy is nice, I would like a forever home of my own. The resident Pugs tell me that nice people adopt us Foster pugs often and I sure hope that is true!  I will be looking for you…I’m the one with the dark Apricot coat, a healthy big boy who is all mush on the inside! My adoption fee is $275, which is a great deal, considering I have been neutered, brought up to date on shots, heartworm tested, had a dental cleaning, and am microchipped!
