Hi there—I’m Olga and I know you clicked on my picture because Foster Mom said I needed to look really cute for my picture so people would look at me. I did a good job, didn’t I?
I’m a 4-year old black pug looking for a forever home. I was in one of those “shelter” places until the nice folks at APARN came and got me and let me come live here with all these other pug brothers and sisters. Oh yeah, and there’s that one funny looking one that I don’t think is a pug because she doesn’t really look like the rest of us. I’m spayed, utd on all my shots, microchipped, and my teeth are just beautiful!
I walk with a little bit of a limp because I have a knee joint that kind of pops in and out, but it sure doesn’t slow me down—I can still run, jump up in a chair and all that other stuff that 4-year olds do. It doesn’t hurt or anything and the vet Foster Mom took me to says I don’t really need surgery, he just wants me to have one of these chewy, yummy things once a day that they call “joint supplements.”
I’m very, very laid back and easygoing, not the least bit aggressive. I get along just fine with all the other dogs here where I’m living and I don’t even try to steal their food. I’m a few pounds heavier than I should be and Foster Mom said something about I’m now in pug weight loss boot camp. At first that sounded pretty scary, but so far it’s been okay. I guess before I came here, I was eating some stuff I shouldn’t have and that isn’t good for us pugs.
My very favorite thing to do is lay at Foster Mom’s feet or sit in her lap and it’s pretty nice here, but I would really like to have a forever home with my own stuff and my own forever family. I’m going to be going to those cool APARN adoption events, so you really should come and meet me. Better hurry, because Foster Mom says I’m so darned cute that I surely won’t last long!
