Oni update:  05/17/2010

Watch out folks here I come. Since coming to APARN, so much has happened. I did not have all of my vaccinations, so I was unable to attend the events like the other fosters.

You see, APARN took good care of me by giving me the vaccines, one at a time, 3 weeks a part to make sure there was no reaction. I also had some dental work done. I am in perfect health, no reactions to anything, clean teeth, beautiful skin and coat.

My only complaint is during this time, Foster Mom made me work on my potty habits.
I did not understand why I could not go on her floor. She could have picked it up – she needs the exercise. She did not like my way of thinking.

Now, I go out the doggie door, or during the night, since Foster Mom closes the doggie door, I get out of bed and use the paper in the garage.

She is very proud of me. She might get me another new toy!

Oni - are creatures from Japanese folklore, variously translated as demons, devils, ogres or trolls. They are popular characters in Japanese art, literature and theatre.[1]

My foster mom says my name fits me because I am a little devil, but I also enjoy classical music so I am a well balanced, well educated pug.

I am an 8 year old black male, who has a best friend, who is an 8 1/2 year old fawn male, named Shoki. (Shoki means demon slayer.)

I do not think Shoki slays much of anything as he is a little more mellow than me. However, since we have been together since pups, we need to find a forever home that is willing to take on two, adorable pugs.

We enjoy conversation, TV, classical music and carrots.

We mind well and will not touch our treats unless we are told its ok.

We have not been outdoors much, so this doggie door thing that foster mom has going on is a little new to us.

We need a family that is willing to help us along in this area.

Foster mom has been keeping us in one area when she is gone, and we do well going on paper and potty pads.

I am really excited that we are going to get to come to events and meet people.

You can’t miss us – we are the two artsy gentlemen.
