Hello! I am Osa, a six year old black girl with the glossiest coat ever! I was in pretty tough shape when APARN retrieved me from the Humane Society, and they have given me what foster mom calls “an extreme makeover”!  All in one operation, I was spayed, had an infected eye removed, my nostrils widened, and my teeth cleaned! I slept for a couple days after that – who wouldn’t? – but then I got back to my normal sweet cuddly self!

It will take a while for my hair to grow back, but it’s already looking good, and I feel so much better! I’m not sure why anyone would give me up – I am friendly, affectionate, happy, and I love to cuddle – but someone did, so I’m looking for my forever home. I get along with the other pugs here, I don’t bother the cat, and the cranky old pug girl here even lets me sleep beside her on the pillow (trust me, she doesn’t let just anyone on it!). I sleep in a crate at night, but I’d be happy to share someone’s bed, if that were allowed!

I will be showing up at APARN adoption events, so just look for the pretty black girl in the pink harness!
