I've been Adopted!

Hi my name is Payton, and I am 2 years old.

I ended up in the shelter some how, (I seem to have a little bit of memory loss), got adopted and then they brought me back. You would think I was a mean pug or something, but I am not. They brought me back because I have a couple of mammary gland tumors that were removed and we found out theyʼre benign!

Sometimes I am really skittish and timid in new environments, the vet thinks itʼs because I was abused. It’s going to take a very special home (besides my foster mommy) that will be patient with me, so I can learn to trust you.

My foster mom lets me sleep with her, she is just the best!!! However I donʼt like to get up in the mornings because the blankets are so warm. Her own pugs tell me how lucky they are because she adopted them from APARN, even though they said THEY had the best foster mom too! Whatever! I am potty trained and havenʼt had any accidents. I am full of energy, inquisitive and like to be held a lot! My foster mom calls me Diva sometimes.

OK, I had better go for now, I think I hear someone coming and don’t want to get caught on the computer without asking, rumor has it that my foster mom’s past foster thought her computer was a tree and tried watering it!
