Read my story...

Hi, I’m Pearl. I’m a five-year old gorgeous black pug. I’ve got a very shiny coat and Foster Mom says I’m a real black beauty

My owners were moving away and couldn’t take me with them, so these nice people from APARN came and got me and my foster mom says I can stay here with her until I find my forever home. I’m a few pounds overweight and we’re working on that, but mostly, I’m just a big pug.

I’m very playful and love fuzzy toys and playing with my foster sister and brothers. Even the old guy here joins in from time to time. I get along really well with all the dogs and there was a cat in my previous home that I got along with just fine and I like kids a lot! I’m very well trained, know how to use the doggy door and never make a mess in the house. I really prefer sleeping with Foster Mom, but she says we’re not supposed to do that because my new home might not want pugs on the bed. Why wouldn’t you want a snuggly, sweet girl like me to sleep with you?

I’ve had two previous homes that we know of and it sure would be nice if Santa would bring me a forever home for Christmas. Wouldn’t you just love me in your stocking?

Pug kisses,
Pearl (aka Pearly Mae)
