Hello, I’m Pugston, a sweet-natured, well behaved senior boy, just 12 years young.

I don’t look or act my age at all – even the vet was surprised, because while I have some white facial hair, I am trim and energetic. As my name suggests, I am a Pug-Boston mix, and I do think I’ve got the best of both sides! My family moved and had to give me up, so sometimes I am a little sad, but I’m settling into my foster home’s routine, and have several pug buddies to keep me going. Boy, was foster dad surprised when he heard me bark – he thought he had a German Shepherd in the house! I don’t bark often, but when I do, I want to be heard.

Being a senior boy, I’m happy to doze near you, but when you want to go on a walk or to the dog park, I’m right there with you!  I walk nicely on a leash, and ride quietly in the back seat of the car. I am house-trained and can wait until you let me out, although if I see pigeons in the yard, I’ll let you know I want out to chase them! I’m just the nicest boy.

I’ll be attending APARN’s adoption events, so look for the black boy in the blue harness.
