When Ricky was adopted in October 2002, he was abused, deathly ill and had lived in 5 homes within a year. In our 5 1/2 years together, he made fast friends with his siblings, Lucy, Fred and Ethel and overcame his physical disabilities and numerous serious illnesses. Ricky captured the hearts of everyone he met, was full of love and genuinely appreciated his new lease on life. He was such a trooper and persevered through thick and thin.
On June 27, 2008, he finally succumbed to a traumatic grand mal seizure. He’s now in doggie heaven playing with all of his pug friends and reminding us daily why pug rescue is such a wonderful thing.
