Rocky
Rainbow Bridge: June 22, 2009

Likes: He still likes to play & go for short walks.
Medications: He has arthritis & mild allergies so he takes 1/2 of an adult buffered aspirin & 1 Benadryl twice daily. (we mix these in his food & he eats them with no problem). Due to his allergies, he has some chronic ear problems which are under control at this point. We clean his ears out with ear wash once weekly. This seems to be keeping any further ear problems under control. He has a limp in the front due to his arthritis, but this doesn’t slow him down!
Other specifications: He was mildly overweight when we got him, but he is down to 24# at this time. The weight loss is helping his arthritis/limp. His hearing isn’t sharp, but he can still hear a chip bag open from another room! His vision is limited in his right eye, but once again this doesn’t slow him down. He is always looking for a hand out (which is probably why he was overweight to start). He has a very healthy appetite & will let you know it!! He is mostly potty trained. He has on occasion marked in the house, but for the most part he will ‘tell’ you when he wants outside. Rocky is looking for a special person/family that he can spend his golden years with. Are you that special person or family?
Why turned into rescue: Rocky comes to us from an owner surrender.
