Hello, my name is Roger but that is still up for negotiation. I do not answer to it yet.
I am a young 2 year old Pug boy, and brand new to APARN. Some nice APARN volunteers picked me up from the shelter and took me home to their house.
I am full of hope to find my new forever family, but before that can happen, I will need to see the vet this week to make sure that I am healthy as a horse. I sure look like it - and I am almost as big as one my foster dad says. If it was up to him he’d call me “Beefy”! The doctor is going to give me something called a neuter…I do not know what that means but I am sure that it is in my best interest.
I came home today to a wealth of Pug and Chihuahua. I liked them all and I started to groom them and to dispense kisses right away. I am a big lover! Being in the shelter, I was a bit “smelly” when I was picked up, even by pug standards! I was very embarrassed about this and I was thrilled to get a bath right away. I was such a good boy foster mom said! I sat in the kiddy pool with her and I let her scrub me with Oatmeal shampoo. Now I smell like a brand new Pug boy!
When we were out there taking a bath I also got to meet my human foster sisters. I was very nice and gentle with them. I did not even try to jump on them or to push them down for food! I have manners!
I am a pro at using the dog door already! Foster mom didn’t even have to explain it to me. I followed the other dogs through it right away. In and out - in and out - in and out we go! I think the bathroom is out there too. I used it 3 times already. Again, my foster mom commented on how good of a boy I am. Now she just hopes I’ll keep it up.
Like all APARN Pugs I am thrilled that I am in a safe foster home. BUT like all little boys I do wish for a home I can call my own…forever.
I cannot wait to meet you!
Love - Roger
