Hi everyone, my name is Ruby. (I also answer to Ruby Sue.) I’m the sweetest 4 year old girl you will ever meet.
I am fully housebroken, which is more than I can say for the boys in my foster home. My foster mom says that she wishes that they could learn a thing or two from me:) I let my foster parents know when I need to go potty by getting them and bringing them to the back door to let me out. I figured out how to come back in their doggy door but I’m not comfortable going outside through it yet. I’m pretty smart so I don’t think it will take me long to get the hang of it. After I go potty outside, I come in and twirl around and around to remind you that I need my treat for being a good girl. A piece of dry dog food or a frozen green bean is a sufficient reward.
You may have noticed by my picture that I need to lose a few pounds. My foster parents are working with me on that, but I sure love food. I bark and jump up and down when it’s feeding time.
I know how to sit and play well with the other pugs in my house. I get along with all ages of kids and even like cats. I also like to sleep with my foster family. I am EXTREMEMLY friendly and love to wag my tail (even when my tail’s all curled up) and give kisses. I love to play fetch with my toys.
I’m getting my teeth cleaned next week. After that’s taken care of, I’m sure that I’ll adapt well to a new forever family because I am doing so well at my foster family’s house and had a lot of love from my first family.
