Rufus (age 3) came to APARN severely underweight and clearly malnourished. Even so, he enjoys spirited play (especially fetch!), and gets along well with other dogs and cats. He is not yet neutered, because his foster parents are working on first getting him healthy.
Rufus needs gentle but firm discipline and lots of exercise. Even though he’s been mistreated in the past, he is affectionate with those who show him kindness. Rufus would make a great addition to a loving family.
