Hi There! I’m Rugsby, and I’m about 9 years old.

I know when you first look at me you might not think I look like your typical pug. I have a handsome under bite, which makes me look very distinguished.

Something you should know about me is that I have had total ear canal ablation surgery. My ears were so infected that the vet had to take out my ear canals. He said that after the surgery I wouldn’t be able to hear, but my foster parents say that even though I’m deaf I listen better than all of the other dogs in the house. I try so hard to make them happy!

I like to spend most of my time snuggling on the couch. Foster mom always tells me that I am a real sweet snuggle bug. I like when she tells me that. I can’t hear her, but I can tell that she is saying something nice…and that gives me a lot of confidence.

I’m not very active, although I’m starting to get used to playing with the other dogs. I’m curious about their toys and I like to join in with them sometimes, but usually I just enjoy watching them.

I am completely housebroken. I have never had an accident or marked in the house! I am a real gentleman with superb manners. When it is time for bed I will go right in to my crate to sleep. All I ask for in return is a small treat.
