Hi my name is Sahara, the meaning of my name is desert place, don’t you think that is the perfect name for living in the Arizona desert? The only thing is I am not brown, I am more on the white side in color.

I am a year old female pug, who has had a couple of litters of puppies before coming to APARN. I guess my former owners didn’t know about spaying and neutering with all the over population going on of unwanted animals. Thank goodness APARN took care of that, in fact my pictures were taken shortly after my surgery and I was a little sleepy.

I was a stray, and this very nice family took me in and called APARN when they couldn’t find my owners.

My foster brother told me that my foster mom lets all the little girl fosters come in and hang out with her while she gets ready for work, maybe I can pick up a few pointers on keeping my coat shiny.

My foster mom thinks that I was kept outside, as I seem to want to be out there a lot, even with it being hot. She keeps telling me I can’t stay out there because pugs really do not do well in the heat.  I know she is right, so I will have to learn to enjoy living in the cool house and not struggling to breathe with the heat outside.

I love kids, people and other dogs, so I know I would be perfect for your family. Please fill out the adoption application and come out to meet me at the next event!
