Hi there, my name is Selma and I am a sweet 1 1/2 year old female. I am healthy, but a little shy at first. It takes me a few days to come out of my shell. When I do feel comfortable with you I will want to sit by you on the couch and if you will let me, sleep in your bed.

I get along great with other dogs of any age; I will even play once I feel comfortable with another dog if they engage play first. I am a bit of a picky eater, and for some reason food bowls scare me, but my foster mom and dad are working with me on that.

I have not yet had a mistake in the house, and know how to use a doggie door. I hate loud noise and if anyone yells I will run and hide. My tongue sticks out a bit so it looks like I am sticking my tongue out at you, well at least my foster mom can’t tell when I am!
 
I would love a home with just one or two other dogs, don’t know how I am with children or cats, but I am guessing I would be pretty good as I don’t bark much
