Hi! My name is Sergio. I am a trim young boy who the vet thinks might be about three years old.

I was found as a stray with my buddy, Luis, and taken in by the kind folks at APARN. I’m very healthy, just a little thin, I have all my shots and have been neutered, and am ready to find my forever home. I am a little shy at first with new people, and I bark at them, but once I figure out they are going to pet me, I warm up pretty fast.

My foster Mom says I just need a little socializing, so every few days she takes me to a store where I smell all sorts of interesting things, especially lots of sacks of dog food, and walks me around so I can meet other people and dogs. I usually like the other dogs, but am not sure about cats.

I learned to use the doggy door, and have convinced Foster Mom that I do not need a belly band any more, so she trusts me in the house when she leaves. I’ve been trying to show my buddy Luis how to use the doggy door, but he is not a fast learner.

I like to snuggle with other dogs, and especially like to snuggle with a person who will pet me and tell me how handsome I am.

I’d like a forever home that has another friendly dog to show me the ropes, and maybe even a human buddy to play with.
