Read my story...

Hi, My name is Sir Winston and I am getting settled in my foster home.

I am a big boy, the mom here says I look a little bulldoggy because I have a big powerful chest and shoulders. I weigh 30 pounds and am 11 years old. The vet lady said I only need to lose 2 pounds to be at my ideal weight.

I have a little weakness in my hindquarters, which is not unusual for someone my age. I doní’ have too much trouble getting around although I donít think that I would be able to go up and down stairs easily.

I am housebroken, although I do have a problem with something called fecal incontinence. It’s really not as scary as it seems, I just don’t have any control over that part, it just kind of falls out when it wants, but it isn’t a big problem as long as I am on a good diet and my stool is nice and firm.

I like to follow you around and settle on the comfortable beds that are scattered around the house. I can get a little cranky when the other dogs crowd around my face and try to get in my food when I’m eating, but I generally get along with everyone and am content to just hang out with you. I love to go on car rides. I enjoy short walks with my people and am a goodeasygoing fellow.

I was given up because my mom was not in good health and could no longer care for me, so I am looking for a nice quiet retirement home to settle in for the rest of my days. Are you the home for me?
