Hi, Sonny here. I thought it was time to update by bio.
You see, I’ve been in my foster home for over 10 months and it is really stale! The bio, not the foster home! I love my foster home, but, I would really like a place more permanent. Some things haven’t changed, I still LOVE to cuddle with you and I like to be up on the couch or chair with you while you watch TV and I insist on sleeping on the bed with you. If I don’t get my way, I will sleep on one of the dog beds, but first I will give you my best sad puppy dog eyes, and believe me, I really have the look down pat!
The foster mom here says I am a drama king. I don’t know what she means. I am a very sensitive fellow. When I first got here, I was a terrible eater. Picky, picky and just not interested. Turns out I had this thing called valley fever. Not a big deal, I was feeling really icky and I think that’s why my foster mom thinks I’m a drama king. I just went in for a retest, and the vet says I have an exposure titer, whatever that means. All I know is that I am feeling super now, and actually feel playful and get pretty spunky for some of the old farts around here, geeze, they are all about 100 years old, crippled, or blind! No fun!
I will be your shadow, the foster mom keeps looking for the six inch string that connects her heels with me. I will shadow you everywhere. I am very polite and will let you go through doors first. I love to go for car rides and usually just lay down and nap. The mom here thinks I am just the nicest fellow and can’t imagine why no one has been interested in adopting me. She thinks it’s because I don’t try to steal the show at adoption events. I just lay low and act like the sweet fellow I am! I am looking for a home with other brothers and sisters and permission to be on the furniture with you. I will promise to keep you entertained and have quite the repertoire of facial expressions that I am very good at using!

Sonny was diagnosed with Valley Fever and is currently on Fluconazole to treat it. He is still attending events, so feel free to come and meet him. APARN will continue to pay for his Valley Fever medication and treatment, even if adopted, so don’t let that stop you from meeting this wonderful boy!
*PLEASE NOTE: APARN does not adopt dogs outside of the state of Arizona.
