Read my story...

I’m Squishy, kind of a sissy name for a big strapping brindle boy, don’t you think?

Foster Mom says I’m almost too big for sitting in her lap, but that sure doesn’t keep me from trying. She also says I act like I was kept outside a LOT in my previous home and now that I’m allowed to stay indoors, I really, really like it.

I just love attention and getting petted and my belly rubbed, but what pug doesn’t like that? I’m housebroken and know how to use a doggie door. The first couple of days I was here in my foster home, I tried marking a few times, but I almost never do that now.

I’m really a sweet boy and although I weigh about 28-1/2 pounds, I’m not overweight, just a big boy and we brindles, you know we’re kind of unusual with our cool coloring. I just had a dental and had some teeth pulled and cleaned, so my breath is really nice and fresh. I had a little ear infection when I came here, but I’ve been on meds for it and it’s almost gone now. I do have a little dry eye and will need drops in my eyes every day.

I’m six years old and get along really well with all the other dogs here. Mostly I just want to lay at your feet and be your best boy. You really need to come and meet me at one of those cool adoption events that APARN sponsors—you’ll see what a handsome, sweet boy I am!
