Tamber
ADOPTED
I've been Adopted!
Adopted: September 2011Click on pug picture for larger image

Hi, my name is Tamber, and I am a 5 year old female pug. My fur is what they call ‘apricot’ color, but I like to call it ‘gold’ because I am as “good as gold”! Foster mom says I am a very well behaved girl. Well, okay, she actually says I am mostly well behaved, because I like to beg for food while you are eating. Other than that, she says I am super duper good!
When I came to APARN, I had a mouth full of nasty, diseased teeth. Foster mom took me to my dental appointmet a few days later, and afterwards, the vet said she really only had to pull three teeth, the others were so rotted, they just fell out when she touched them. Boy, I can tell you, I feel sooo much better without those awful nasty teeth! At first when I came to her, foster mom thought I was sad, cuz I would lay in a dog bed and whimper a bit, and I didn’t want to eat – that’s not very pug like, is it? But after my dental, foster mom says I am like a whole new pug! I am happy, friendly and begging for food! Oops, keep forgetting I am not supposed to do that!
I get along great with all the other pugs here; there are both boys and girls, and they range in age from 1 year to 15 years! I can be independent though, so Foster mom says I would do fine either as an only pug or in a home with other pugs. I like to sit on your lap, but I am not pushy about it. If you are busy, a dog bed suits me just fine!
Oh, one other thing. Foster mom says for some reason, I don’t photograph well. I am so much cuter in person than in my photos!
I hope you will come and meet me at an event, but I think you should just submit an adoption applicant today, cause pugs that are “good as gold” like me, tend to get adopted pretty quickly. So if you think you’d like to have me as your new family member, don’t delay!
Love,
Tamber
