Hi our names are Teenie, I am the cute little fawn girl, and Moki is the adorable black girl. It is really hard to tell our story, so get out the Kleenex; you’re going to need it!

We were rescued from a puppy mill awhile back, and it was a good thing, as we were very close to death. A very nice couple got us out of that very bad place. I hate to even think about it again! We’d been there so long, no one knows if we are sisters or mother and daughter, but we do know that we love each other and need to be adopted together.

Because we were in such bad shape back then, it was hard to decide what our ages were. We had never been to a vet, and our teeth were very bad. If you didn’t know, vets and APARN look at teeth to determine age as best they can. Best guess is we are both somewhere in the 7-10 years range.

The nice couple who adopted us had also adopted other pugs in need of their help over the years, but found themselves in a very bad spot. You see they went to look at a home to rent, and the landlord knew they had pugs, but when they signed the lease, the landlord backed out of letting them keep all of their dogs! (Boy, if I still had all my teeth, I know where I would like to put them!)

Our parents were beside themselves and it nearly killed them to have to let us go, but they really had no choice. Because they had adopted our brother pug from APARN some years before, they knew we would be in good hands there. Our dad drove us all the way back to Arizona just to make sure we got to be in foster care with APARN.

We lucked out with our foster mom, because she just loves the little old puggies, especially old ladies. She is so nice, she even took in our other sister Bibi so she could foster with us! You can read all about Bibi in her bio.

We are very easy and just want to be loved, as we missed out on so much from the beginning of our lives.

Please find it in your heart to open your home to a couple of old gals who won’t be a problem at all. Just fill out the application, and you’ll be one step closer to adopting us.
