FOR ADOPTION TO THE PERFECT FOREVER FAMILY: “GUY THURSDAY.”

Let me introduce myself, my name is “Thursday.” Yep, I was named after a day in the week. That’s cuz I’m like a “Gal Friday,” only I’m a boy, so…

It was my foster Mom and Dad who first told me I am a lot like a “Gal Friday.” I follow them everywhere, to the point that, if one of the stops short, I bump into them! Like all pugs, I love my humans, although at first I appear to be very shy. As soon as I get to know you, though, I am very active, friendly and affectionate. Foster Dad says I’m a real great little guy and he is the one that crowned me his “Guy Thursday.” That’s cuz I try to follow him right out into the car when he goes to work. I am only 5 years old so, yes, I am energetic. I absolutely would go to work with Dad if he would take me, but since I have to stay home, I follow my Foster Mom everywhere - looking for something to do, just like any good “Guy Thursday.” I’m very efficient and can plant 85 pug kisses a minute.  And I charge a very reasonable hourly rate for a “Guy Thursday” with my experience.

I have four pug foster brothers and sisters, and get along just fine with them. Being a “Guy Thursday,” I try to get them to do some work around the house but, between you and me, they are all a bit spoiled! Not me, though. Foster Dad says I am well behaved and a “sweet little guy.” That’s true… as a “Guy Thursday,” I try to always put my best paw forward. I am even nice to the 3 cats in this house…mostly, I ignore them. I am house broken, and go potty outside as would any well trained boy. And I keep myself in excellent Kcondition…I am the perfect weight for a pug my size, and in good health.

As for that “being affectionate” thing, I must admit I love to be rewarded for all my hard work, just like any “Guy Thursday.” Pet me, hug me, rub my belly and I am one happy guy.

So, if you are looking for a top notch, great all around pug, I just might be the guy - Thursday - for you! I come with an excellent recommendation (my foster Mom and Dad say I am the “best.”) May I suggest you stop by an APARN event so I can explain my skill set to you in more detail? Or better yet, use your skills and fill out an adoption application. Just be sure to indicate you are interested in “Guy Thursday.” After all, why settle for less when you can adopt… the very BEST!

UPDATE: 02/22/12
Hi again! Foster Mom just wanted me to tell you I’ve really “come out of my shell” since living with her. Initially, I was a bit shy, but once I felt safe and loved, my true personality came bursting through! I am a really active and outgoing guy with plenty of personality, and boy, do I love to play. Mom says I act more like a puppy than a 5 year old. I love to play fetch, and am super affectionate. Mom says I am a great “family” pug…so why don’t you and your family come visit with me soon?
