Hi, my name is Zhu (zoo) who are you? I’m a 7 1/2 yr old dark apricot wash male (pretty special huh?) who loves his toys and his people. I’m kind of confused right now, but I’m starting to show my loving side to my foster Mommy.

I was surrendered because the baby and I didn’t get along. I didn’t like having my eyes poked at and unfortunately I stood up for myself. For this reason, I should not go to a home with small children. Older children who know how to treat me would be fine. I was the only dog and really don’t know how to interact with other dogs - I’m not sure of them and they make me nervous. So if you have another dog, you might want to consider some exposure training so I can get used to other dogs.

I love my toys and will play with them with my human. I love to snuggle close and would give anything to have my forever family find me soon. I’m pretty sad I had to lose my other home, but I know someone out there will want to share their love with me and snuggle with me too. Is that you? If so,..I’m Zhu…and I am waiting!
