hi! i am writing to tell you that i am well adjusted in my new home. i get walked at least three times a day and love my leash. i also love to just run outside and get some good exercise. though my new name is " PUG" it suits me just fine. i have an awesome new collar with butterflies on it and a super cool pink leash. i like to growl at my siblings, those darn cats, especially when they try to get near my mom and dad when i am sleeping near them. i like to have them all to myself. sometimes i cant hold my bladder in the house no matter how much i try but we are working on it as a family. every other weekend the kids come to visit and for the most part i am very very patient with them. i have a few toys i like to play with. i also have found out i like to watch tv, especially shows with dogs and other animals in it. i will bark at the tv and even go right up to the tv on my hind legs and howl. i try and start fights with other doggies sometimes even if they are 5 times my size. i know my mom and dad find it amusing. i got my nails done for valentines day, they were even painted red. i love to go in the car and do so often. i even found out what ducks are at the park one day. i just wanted to say thank you for getting me a good home. i am loved dearly. i tried to post my story on your web page but my computer wouldn't let me so that is why i wrote you an email.:) take care and good luck to all the other pugs. i hope you all get good homes like i do!!!!!!!! i have attached a recent picture of me at the store shopping with my mom. she helped me to write this letter:)

love,
pug

ADOPTION PROCESS

Would you like to fill out our adoption application? Please go to our adoption page and fill out the application!

APARN has taken in over 150 pugs in 2007.  Won't you please consider making a  monetary donation to help us give these pugs the care they need?

We may have more dogs than are shown on this page, and dogs are coming in regularly so please submit an application and get on our list! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered. Our adoption process begins with submitting an application. We will try to respond to your application in a timely matter, but please remember that we are all volunteers, and often get backed up.
