Adoption Success Story
February of 2007

I just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that Pepper, who I adopted in February of 2007, has been gainfully employed since then. He has even been added to the website -

Not only has Pepper been able to establish his position in the company, he is very popular and brings smiles to the faces of everyone in the Mill Avenue District. He comes to work everyday, sits in on meetings, snores, steals business cards and everyone's' chair. Pepper and the baby (also on the website) fill their days begging for food together, sharing toys and being cute. They make one good team! Not only do I wish to thank you for rescuing Pepper, many others send thanks too! He is truly a joy to live and work with. The only problem is he has a tendency to jump into people laps mid-meeting but they don't seem to mind the Pepper love!
Thank you again for rescuing a great best friend!

APARN has taken in over 150 pugs in 2007. Won't you please consider making a monetary donation to help us give these pugs the care they need?

We may have more dogs than are shown on this page, and dogs are coming in regularly so please submit an application and get on our list! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered. Our adoption process begins with submitting an application. We will try to respond to your application in a timely matter, but please remember that we are all volunteers, and often get backed up.
