ABOUT APARN

Arizona Pug Adoption and Rescue Network is a 501c3 non-profit organization started in November of 2000 by like-minded Pug lovers who realized the need for Pug rescue in Arizona. As a group we are dedicated to the breed we love - Pugs. As anyone who has even met a Pug will know you would be hard pressed to find a better companion in the canine world.  Unfortunately, as is true with every kind of dog, there are unintentional litters of pups, runaways not always claimed at shelters, Pugs with health problems beyond the owners ability to care for them, or families that are for whatever reason no longer able to keep their Pugs.  We will rescue and place any Pug or Pug mix.

APARN prides ourselves in finding wonderful homes for our flat faced friends, with matches suited to both the Pug and the Person.  We employ an in-depth screening process to make sure the fit is right.

One of our long term goals is to create a dedicated network of people who care for Pugs throughout Arizona so that no Pug will be put to sleep in this state due to needing medical attention, age or shelter space. We also hope to offer educational classes for pug owners.
