Hi, my name is Dennis, but I’m not a menace, I’m a very good boy. My very favorite thing is lap sitting and I’m so exceptionally good at it. Foster mom says she could spend the entire day sitting in her chair holding me on her lap and I would be content. Cuddling is wonderful! Foster mom says if you looked up ‘Velcro pug’ in the dictionary, you would see my picture. I want to be wherever she is every minute. I’m happy to say that I have not had a single accident in the house even though the place is full of puggy boys… there are some dogs, I’m told, who like to ‘mark their spot’, but I’m not one of them.  I use the doggy door whenever I need to. Getting along with the other dogs in the house is no problem either. We do just fine. I’m not sure how I feel about cats and children, but I think I would be very nice to them if they were nice to me.

Foster mom said I have adjusted into the house routine nicely. I sleep with my foster brother on a dog bed next to foster mom and dad’s. I would be very happy to sleep with them, but I was told that we don’t do that at this house….maybe my forever home would be happy to cuddle with me at night. 

You will see by my photos that it seems I was in the wrong line when the tongues were passed out and I got one that’s a bit big for my mouth, so some of it sticks out most of the time. But, it doesn’t bother me if it doesn’t bother you. I just had a dental so my breath is sweet as can be.

My only health issue is that I’ve been diagnosed with Struvite crystals in my urine. I don’t show any symptoms but I need to be on a special prescription food that prevents the from forming bladder stones.  I am eating Royal Canin Urinary SO dog food.  Since I only eat 1/3 cup of kibble morning and night, the bag lasts a long time. I’m not supposed to get treats, either. I don’t like that part much, but maybe I could stand to drop a pound … or two… or three.  We’re working on that.
