Let me introduce myself, my name is Pepper and I am a beautiful, sweet, loving, smart, great personality, well behaved ... What, Mom? Oh. Okay, I have to stop with the adjectives. Even though they are true, my foster mom says I am making her sick with all this mooshie stuff! So here are the facts: I am 4 years young and looking for the perfect family. Wait, did I say perfect family? Now I should know better because there is no perfect person or perfect Pug, but between you and me, I am pretty darn close!

I get along great with all of my foster siblings, both boys and girls, and all ages. I love my foster parents, they are the most awesome couple, but they have enough dogs of their own, so I am ready to find my forever home.  I love to sleep with my humans if they let me. Don’t get me wrong, I can sleep alone, well kind of, but I would prefer to sleep with my people. I don’t snore, I find my spot for the night and I don’t move until the alarm goes off! (And if I knew how, I would hit that snooze button!)

I have been so good in my foster home; I have not tried to lift my leg, not even once! I ask to go out when I need to. (See, it goes back to what I originally said about being smart and well behaved!)  I am getting over valley fever and I also found out that my hips and knees aren’t in the best shape.  I am also in early stages of a collapsing trachea, but if you keep me thin, it’s going to help so I don’t progress so much.
