"Snog, Snog... I need a kiss!" There she goes again, my Foster Mom trying to get me to kiss her! I'm Snog, and if you'll look at my picture, I think you'll understand why everyone wants to smooch me. I don't mean to brag, but I do have a rather kissable face - don't you agree? In fact, that's how I got my name. "Snog" is British lingo for "kiss." I'm not too responsive to her requests, though. I am a bit laid back, and besides kissing isn't really proper behavior for a pug with a British name - even if that name means "kiss!" But I do like to be close to my Foster Mom, and sit as near to her as I possibly can. I think once I have my forever home, where I know I'll never again have to leave, I'll be able to let my guard down a bit. See, deep down I really do want to kiss and snuggle...I just need a special family who I know will love me unconditionally before I can trust that much again.

Foster Mom says I am a good boy. I am happy just to lay around and relax. I love to go on long walks (I am very well behaved on a leash), and get along just fine with the other dogs here - and there are quite a few of them! I also am nice to the kitty cats...well, once in a while I might take a smell or two...but I never chase them. And I am not the type of pug who barks or snores too loudly, either.

Foster Mom says I do have a problem with "marking," so she keeps me in "man pants." I think that's another way of saying I wear a band around my belly to help me with this marking thing. Foster Mom also says, though, that she thinks this behavior might be the result of having so many other dogs around. I am trying to be better, and promise if my forever family just gives me love and is patient with me, I'm pretty sure we can correct it. I promise to try really, really hard! I guess I also love my treats, cuz sometimes I get into trouble for being just a little too aggressive in trying to make sure I get my fair share! Foster Mom says I am a pug/shark, and she has to count her fingers afterwards! But really, it's only for treats that I do this...Foster Mom says I'm just fine at feeding times.

I am hoping that soon someone will fall in love with my kissable face, and adopt me. I so want my very own forever family. If you'd like to meet me, just check for upcoming APARN adoption events; I go to a lot of them. Or better yet, if you've already fallen in love with "Snog" (that's me), please fill out an adoption application on APARN's website. Just be sure to write "Snog - the kissable pug" on the application, so the good folks at APARN will know it's me you love! Hope to meet you soon!
