Hi, my name is Trixie and I’m a sassy 8 year old little pug.

I’m a wonderful girl and have been in foster care for a while because I’m a little older than the whipper-snappers in the system and often get overlooked. Don’t let my age fool you though – I can keep up with the best of them!

I’m pretty much a perfect pug – I get along great with everyone, am very well mannered, know the dog door, am potty trained, and pretty independent. I get along well with the other dogs in my foster home, but I’m kind of the boss around here. Some people would call me a leader.

I love a good chewie and to take a nap on the couch while you watch TV. I also like to stick my tongue out and give lots of kisses. I play with toys and share well. I like kids and cats just fine and would make a great addition to the right family.

I’m a very healthy little girl, but I do have allergies and need to stay on a restricted diet of high quality food (preferably sweet potato and fish as this doesn’t aggravate my allergies). I would also do best in a home without grass so I don’t get itchy and swell up. Apart from that, I’m very healthy and APARN was kind enough to give me a dental when I came into rescue so my breath is beautiful (at least that’s what foster mom tells me).
