I've been Adopted!
Adopted: July 2012Click on pug picture for larger image

Hello again everyone! Have you wondered why such a beautiful girl is STILL on this website? Well, I’ll tell you all the details when we meet, but for now let’s just say my hip/leg surgery didn’t go as we'd hoped. Nobody's fault; my legs were just in such bad condition from being kept in a crate 20+ hours a day for the first 4 years of my life.
I am now a 3-legged pug…the first in APARN’S history! Don’t think that prevents me from being a diva that I’ve always been. I do get along with the other canines in my foster home (no cats here,) can use the doggy door, but I require some special attention. I can do short walks in the cool of the morning, but would need to take a break (like riding in a dog stroller) while you continue on with the rest of our walk. This is because my other hind leg isn’t very strong.
My desire would be a mature, patient family. I can’t run with the little kids and might trip the fragile seniors, but I can provide you with my good looks which will get you an admiring public! Are you able to resist my liquid brown eyes pleading for treats? I hope so, because I really cannot gain extra weight that would put a strain on my remaining back leg.
Yes, I know I am asking for a special family, but think of my possibilities! I’m only 4 years old, beautiful, won’t be doing the puppy thing, am housetrained, love to sleep with you, don’t snore loudly, don’t mind if I’m an only pug, and will let you know if someone is at the door I’m a real catch!
We can talk more about me after you fill out your application. I should be attending the adoption events soon. Watch for TRU-DEE!
Love to you, new family!
