- Mail in order form, which must be received no later than March 10, 2010
- From individual APARN members until 6:00 pm Phoenix time on March 10, 2010
- At the APARN booth at events listed on the APARN events webpage (through March 10, 2010)
- At PugStock until 11:55 am March 14, 2010.

Official Raffle Rules for APARN’s Spring Bling 2010 Raffle
Eligibility
Entry purchaser, and anyone to whom a purchaser legally transfers an entry, must be 21 years or older. Raffle is limited to Arizona residents. Only one (1) individual may be identified as an entry purchaser. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Entries may be purchased via mail in order form, or at APARN’s spring pug party, PugStock, at the APARN booth at events listed on the Events page on the APARN website, or from an APARN member. For mail in entries, you will receive an email confirming your entry. This is the only confirmation that will be provided for internet entry purchases. A hard copy ticket confirmation number is not required to claim a prize. Questions concerning ticket confirmation should be directed to the “Raffle”, at APARN’s email address. By entering the Raffle, the entry purchaser acknowledges that he or she is aware of, and agrees to abide by, the Raffle’s rules and regulations.
Drawings
Drawing will be held Sunday March 14th, at 12:00 pm Phoenix time, at PugStock. Entries may be purchased as follows:
- Mail in order form, which must be received no later than March 10, 2010
- From individual APARN members until 6:00 pm Phoenix time on March 10, 2010
- At the APARN booth at events listed on the APARN events webpage (through March 10, 2010)
- At PugStock until 11:55 am March 14, 2010.
All purchases of entries are non-refundable. In the Raffle, there is no possibility of a tie.
Prizes
All prizes will be awarded. Prizes will be drawn in the order listed above. Prizes may not be exactly as shown and are based on manufacturer’s availability. If unavailable, similar or like kind prizes may be substituted at the Administrator’s sole discretion. All MSRPs are rounded to the nearest dollar. No prize is valued at less than $50.00 MSRP. No prizes may be exchanged for cash value. With proper transfer or sales documents bearing notarized signatures, as required by the Raffle, a prize may be transferred, sold, or donated.
Notification of Winners
Winners will be notified via mail, or by email where available, of requisite procedure to claim the prize.
Entrants can access www.arizonapugrescue.com two (2) calendar days after completion of the Drawing to check prize winning status. Winners’ name and location by city or town, will be available at www.arizonapugrescue.com.
Waiver / Limitations of Liability
Entry purchasers, by participating (and winner, by accepting a prize) release Arizona Pug Adoption and Rescue Network, its members, affiliates, partners, volunteers, agents, representatives, and sponsors from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion and possession or use of the prize awarded.
Internet
The Raffle will pursue all available legal remedies against any individual(s) damaging or attempting to damage any Arizona Pug Adoption and Rescue Network website or attempting to undermine the lawful operation of the Raffle.
Taxes and IRS Rules
All winners shall be responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prize.
SPECIAL NOTE:
At the time of this printing, federal law requires that corresponding tax withholding on prize values of $5,100 or greater must be collected from winners upon award and distribution. Federal and state withholding laws are subject to change without notice. The withholding laws in effect at the time prizes are claimed will be followed. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries or similar programs are not gifts and, therefore, the price of the entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.
